Me and my partner decided to try for a baby last year as we knew it may take some time to have a baby due to my medical reasons (although this was before the current pandemic as falling pregnant in the middle of a pandemic was probably not my wisest idea haha) and we are happy to say we are due in January 2021.
The day I found out was quite funny and I thought I would share it with you. I had taken a cheap pregnancy test but couldn’t tell if the line was faint or not, so decided to get a digital one, so I drive to the shop and and buy one and then set of to go home, all excited to find out …. when the car battery dies, so I ring my partner and he doesn’t have any jump cables, so I have to ring my dad to come and help jump start the car, so I’m franticly trying to hide the bag with the pregnancy test in before my dad gets there hahahaha as you do, anyway I get home and take the test and it comes back positive, then I ring my mam and tell her and then my dad says ”hang on I just seen her and she didn’t tell me” hahaha sorry dad.
So far things are going well with the pregnancy although when I rang my cardiologist to tell him I’m pretty sure that was one of the reasons why he decided to retire hahaha but we are so happy and cant wait to meet our little girl soon.
